Dr Jenny Crangle, an Honorary Research Fellow of Sheffield Archaeology, is returning to Sheffield and our new research lab facilities as part of a collaborative research project. She and her colleagues will be working with animal bone finds from the Roman site of Wroxeter, in order to select samples that can be used for scientific dating. The result of this project will shed important light on the later periods of occupation at the site and help us to understand when the ‘dark ages’ began.
