This current academic year has seen the expansion of our academic and teaching staff. ‘The department has seen some important new staffing developments in recent months’, said Head of Department, Professor Dawn Hadley, ‘and our new appointments are transforming our teaching and expanding our areas of research expertise. We are looking forward to delivering new modules and enhancing the support for existing modules, as well as seeing the development of exciting new research projects. In addition, some of our staff are undertaking secondments within the University or to external organisations, which is both offering them new opportunities and also bringing the department the benefits of their experiences’.
